My Story

I’m Joshua Hunt aka J.Hunt, owner of HuntServices, a professional DJ, event technician, and broadcasting specialist based in Austin, Texas. With a background that spans over three decades in radio broadcasting, live sound production, and event logistics, I’ve built a career focused on professionalism, dependability, and attention to detail. Before launching HuntServices, I served as a Program Director and On-Air Personality at 88.7 FM KAZI Radio, where I managed live shows, technical production, and community events. I also bring experience from FunFlicks Outdoor Movies, Star Shuttle Inc., and First Student, where safety, reliability, and communication were key to every role. Today, I bring those same values to every event I produce — ensuring top-quality sound, seamless coordination, and a great experience for every client. When I’m not behind the decks or on-site setting up an event, you can find me supporting community projects, mentoring youth, or collaborating with local creatives in the Austin area.
